This guide was prepared to support and guide other engineers, builders, and contractors in managing construction activities with confidence, ensuring safety, compliance, and minimal disruption to the community. It provides clear direction on essential areas such as:

• Site access and parking – entrance/exit, vehicle movement, pedestrian safety, and emergency access.
• Precautions and protections – safeguarding adjoining properties, council assets, stormwater infrastructure, and trees.
• Work scheduling – regulated hours of operation and construction phases.
• Waste management – demolition waste, asbestos protocols, recycling, and litter control.
• Soil and water management – erosion control, dispersal measures, monitoring, and reporting.

By contributing to this guide, our team ensured that the CTMP 2025 provides clear, practical, and enforceable measures to help developers, contractors, and project managers meet their obligations. This initiative reflects both the Council’s and Loka’s shared commitment to responsible construction practices and sustainable urban growth.
